P O L I C E  C O L L E G E

The Bahamas Police Academy is located in Oakes Field, Nassau, New Providence, and it is at this institution that all recruits for the regular Police Service, Police Force, Fire Branch, Police Band and Police Reservist are trained.  The academy also provides a multitude of continuing training and evaluation programs for the Police Force, as well as security officers from various government departments.

MISSION STATEMENT

To provide a high quality of training by a team of dedicated professionals through facilitated learning and problem solving techniques to stimulate and develop law enforcement personnel to fulfill the needs and expectations of our ever changing society.
