Control Room comprises a total of twenty nine police officers and three civilians who are responsible for receiving information and dispatching it to various patrol units and stations. They are also responsible for deploying instant response teams to deal with serious complaints and requests for police service. Additionally Emergency Medical Services E.M.S hare now based at the Police Control Room to provide increased efficiently and response to all calls for emergency medical assistance.

Control Room is the nerve centre for the Police Force and its infrastructure is completely computerized consisting of modern communication trunking radio system from Motorola, H.T.E Cad System  which includes mobile data by way S.C.A / Motorola and a Mug shots Module from SI-3000. Which enable patrol units equipped with laptops to communicate and send data from their laptops to the dispatchers in Control Room.

The officers and civilians working in the centre are trained specifically for this area. The operators and dispatchers are called on form all sections of the country for information. demand for police service continues to grow   and the Control Room staff has lived up to expectations in providing this vital service. The staff remains committed and motivated, giving the best possible service to the public.  

The 9-1-1 service is designed to provide human emergency service for your personal safety and security.

State-of-the-art equipment is used to assist  9-1-9 / 9-1-1 operators in directing your emergency. While much vital information is automatically generated when you dial 9-1-9 / 9-1-1 , it is extremely important that you be prepared to assist operators.
